Summary

We are looking for several Test Engineers specializing in HIL, VIL, and complete vehicle testing. The main focus of the role is to maintain and troubleshoot VIL rigs equipped with Vector systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability during vehicle test operations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with a structured working style, strong analytical skills, and proven experience in troubleshooting at complete vehicle level, software updates, and Vector toolchains

What you will do

  • Maintain and operate HIL/VIL rigs used for software and hardware validation.
  • Perform software downloads (SWDL), diagnostic testing, and system verification.
  • Conduct log analysis using tools such as CANoe, Wireshark, and DLT to identify and resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot faults at both rig and complete vehicle level.
  • Support integration and development teams by providing test feedback and trace data.
  • Ensure rig stability, manage configurations, and support test automation activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of test methods, infrastructure, and documentation

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar engineering field
  • EU driving license is a must (required for vehicle-level testing and validation)
  • Proven experience in Basetech testing (SWDL, diagnostics, gateway, etc.)
  • Hands-on troubleshooting at the complete vehicle and rig level
  • Confident performing We're looking for a sharp HIL/VIL Test Engineer to keep rigs running, solve tough faults, and push vehicle testing forward.software updates and managing multiple test setups
  • Proficiency in Vector tools: CANoe, CANalyzer
  • Deep understanding of CAN, LIN, and Ethernet protocols
  • Experience working with OSB, Cynosure, and Confighub environments

Merituous Qualifications

  • Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and test environments
  • Knowledge of baseline and binary management
  • Understanding of test automation processes and frameworks
