We're Hiring: Senior Embedded System Test Engineer - Gothenburg

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Embedded System Test Engineer to lead automated testing and system-level verification for advanced embedded platforms within a high-tech engineering environment.

What You'll Do


• Lead development of automated test frameworks for embedded systems


• Create & maintain automated test cases using MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and other tools


• Work with HiL systems (dSPACE, NI, Vector) and real-time simulation setups


• Perform system tests in simulations, HiL rigs, and physical vehicles


• Analyze results, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions


• Prepare test plans, procedures, reports, and engineering summaries


• Support verification of features, functions, and field tests


• Conduct performance, climate, durability, and noise testing


• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous process improvement

Required Skills


• 5+ years in system testing & automation for embedded systems


• Strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, automated test development


• Hands-on experience with HiL environments (dSPACE, NI, Vector)


• Solid knowledge of SDLC, QA processes, and system-level troubleshooting


• Strong documentation, analysis, and problem-solving skills


• Experience from automotive, aerospace, or industrial control systems


• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, or test management tools


• ISTQB certification

Important Requirements


• Visa: No sponsorship available – candidates must already hold a valid Swedish work permit


• Must have prior Sweden-based work experience
