Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Marketing Lead to spearhead the launch of an exciting new SEGA game. The successful candidate will drive the development of the game's marketing plan and oversee its execution, ensuring a successful and cohesive campaign.

About the Role

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy tailored to the new Sonic mobile game, aligning with the simultaneous theatrical release.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of the marketing plan, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any bottlenecks promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing team members to ensure all efforts are aligned and integrated.

Responsibilities

  • Project management: Oversee the execution of the marketing plan and ensure timely delivery.
  • Licenser coordination: Work closely with SEGA's licensing teams in California to ensure all marketing materials and activities are approved and on-brand.
  • Collaboration and communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all marketing-related activities, ensuring clear and effective communication among all stakeholders.
  • Performance tracking and reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing regular updates and actionable insights to senior management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading successful marketing launches for video games.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Experience working with licensors, ensuring all marketing activities are on-brand and approved on schedule.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
