Avalanche Studios Group is hiring a Brand Marketing Lead to manage brand and marketing strategy for the world's number one hunting game; The Hunter: Call of the Wild. The position involves leading a team of marketers and implementing innovative brand and marketing strategies that create impact and stimulate demand.
What you'll do:
- Act as chief marketing liaison to the game leadership team; ensure they're equipped for achieving commercial success.
- Advocate for a deep understanding of player needs in all marketing and product decisions.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of an annual live marketing strategy and manage marketing budget forecasting.
- Ensure we have a clear framework for measuring the value of activities and know what drives sales and brand growth.
- Establish marketing growth strategies, setting multi-year brand goals.
- Track and report on our marketing performance using a robust KPI framework.
- Use player insights to assist development teams in designing games that align with player needs.
- Support the creation of unique product positioning and selling points in collaboration with the game leadership team.
- Work with the Insights team to deliver player and market data that informs product and marketing decisions.
- Build the brand framework and platform for the franchise, maintaining consistent brand attributes, tone, and style.
- Coordinate with game and marketing leads to align our marketing strategies with company objectives.
- Contribute to the strategic direction for the Call of the Wild franchise.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a marketing team to foster creativity, strategic thought, and excellence.
- Keep connected to games industry developments and monitor player & market trends to bring the latest thinking to our marketing work.
Who are we looking for:
We're seeking a visionary leader with vast commercial knowledge and robust data understanding. You're an experienced strategist keen on measuring marketing performance and guiding a team to achieve business objectives. You should have a passion for games, and the ability to both mentor others and anticipate market trends.
Role Context:
As part of the Marketing Leadership team at Avalanche Studios Group, the Brand Marketing Lead will report to the Head of Marketing. You'll be pivotal in our mission to engage our players through the delivery of immersive gaming products framed by compelling brand narratives.
Additional information:
This role is based in Stockholm, Sweden, in a hybrid office/home environment. Expect some international travel, and it is vital you have excellent English communication skills. We prefer candidates with experience at an international games publisher, but we may consider similar tech or entertainment industries.
