Exciting Opportunity for a Marketing Lead

As we start this new growth phase, we're looking for a Marketing Lead to build and execute our marketing function from the ground up. As our first marketing hire, you'll own the execution of our marketing strategy while reporting to our founder and working closely with our roaster of advisors.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Marketing Operations: Oversee the operation of key marketing tools and platforms to ensure efficient integration and optimization, supporting seamless campaign execution across channels.
  2. Support Marketing Team: Assist with the daily execution of marketing campaigns, including content creation, distribution, and performance tracking to enhance overall marketing effectiveness.
  3. Manage Vendor and Agency Relationships: Act as the main point of contact for external vendors and agencies, ensuring successful collaboration, adherence to timelines, and alignment with the company's marketing objectives.
  4. Maintain Marketing Documentation: Organize, maintain, and analyze marketing documentation, processes, and performance metrics, ensuring that all marketing activities are measured, documented, and compliant with internal standards.
  5. Ensure Brand Consistency: Uphold brand guidelines across all marketing initiatives and materials, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity, and tone across all internal and external communications.
  6. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including talent, product, and design, to ensure alignment in brand messaging, content strategy, and execution of marketing campaigns.

Your Profile:

  1. Educational Background: 4-5 years of hands-on experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Proven track record in content creation, management, and executing successful marketing strategies.
  3. Technical Expertise: Strong writing and editing skills in English, with the ability to produce clear, compelling content (native or bilingual proficiency).
  4. Content Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in building and managing content workflows, processes, and documentation.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholders, ensuring timely execution of marketing initiatives.
  6. Adaptability: Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with the ability to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities.
  7. CRM and CMS Experience: Proficient with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Pipedrive, HubSpot) and CMS platforms (e.g., Storyblok, WordPress).
  8. Manage Marketing Tools: Experience using design tools such as Photoshop, Figma, or Canva to create engaging marketing materials. Experience with marketing automation tools and AI-driven technologies to enhance marketing efficiency and personalization.
  9. Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality in all marketing activities.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  1. Industry Experience: Experience in B2B technology, impact, or climate tech industries, with an understanding of industry-specific marketing challenges and trends.
  2. Industrial/Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial or manufacturing environments, and the ability to adapt marketing strategies to these sectors.
  3. Performance Marketing Experience: Proven experience in performance marketing, with a strong understanding of paid media, metrics, and optimization strategies.
