About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Depot Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our Product Introduction team, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of our products at customer sites, ensuring seamless warranty implementation and fleet availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and Manage Product Introduction Processes
    • Develop and implement effective processes for product introduction, ensuring compliance with Alstom and customer EHS and security rules.
    • Manage and coordinate the activities of the Product Introduction team, ensuring timely and efficient execution of tasks.
  • Ensure Fleet Availability and Warranty Implementation
    • Develop and implement strategies to ensure fleet availability, meeting contractual commitments and restoring availability as needed.
    • Oversee the implementation of warranty activities, including commissioning, troubleshooting, and failure diagnosis.
  • Manage Relationships and Communication
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer depot management and maintainers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
    • Coordinate train visual inspection and recoupling at train reception, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Identify and Develop Business Opportunities
    • Identify and develop upsell opportunities with customers, leveraging your expertise in product introduction and warranty implementation.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • University degree in a relevant engineering field.
    • Several years of technical experience, mechanical or electrical/electronics.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Field experience and team management skills.
    • General railway and product knowledge.
    • Railway safety and EHS knowledge.
    • Fluent in English and Swedish.
