About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Additive Manufacturing Project Manager to join our team at SAAB AB. As a key member of our Aeronautics Centre for Additive Manufacturing (ACAM), you will play a crucial role in leading and coordinating additive manufacturing initiatives for our future fighter systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and update the additive manufacturing roadmap for future fighter systems
  • Develop and update technology cards and identify cases for our flying and technical demonstrators
  • Coordinate end-to-end implementation of AM as a capability in our business unit
  • Identify the need for AM capabilities that need to be incorporated in our R&T plan
  • Collaborate with AM designers from Advanced Platforms
  • Aid in problem-solving and provide advice from design to production of AM articles
  • Participate in SAAB common projects and share best practices
  • Collaborate in the development of AM strategies and roadmaps
  • Act as a point of contact between different departments
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a solid experience in additive manufacturing, not necessarily as a specialist, but with a broad and general understanding of several AM methods. You should have experience from working with developing ways of working and finding new applications.

You should have an academic background or several years of experience from additive manufacturing and development work. Experience from working with different AM applications with a range of materials and processes is preferred.

You should have excellent communication skills and a natural networker, being able to explain complex concepts in a simple way. You should be able to engage coworkers and make them see possibilities and solutions.
