About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our management team at Greenely, a pioneering company in the sustainable energy transformation space. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and management team, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and reports to inform business decisions.
  • Financial Reporting and Control: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Electricity Operations and Risk Management: Manage and develop our electricity operations, evaluating financial strategies and overseeing risks.
  • Cash and Tax Management: Optimize cash management and handle tax-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Capital Structure and Financing: Collaborate with the CEO to steer our capital structure, managing debt and equity financing.
  • Investor and Board Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, board members, and shareholders, providing exceptional reporting and ad-hoc presentations.

Requirements

  • Proven CFO Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CFO or in a similar leadership role, with a strong track record of financial management and strategic planning.
  • Digital B2C Leadership: Proven leadership experience in a digital B2C company, with a deep understanding of financial acumen and industry trends.
  • Electricity Industry Insight: Experience in the electricity supply industry, with knowledge of financial electricity operations, structure, and risks.
  • Venture Capital Expertise: Familiarity with venture capital or private equity, with a strong understanding of fundraising and investor relations.
  • Startup Savvy: Experience working in a venture capital-backed startup or scale-up, with a strong understanding of agile financial management and rapid growth.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of Swedish and English, both written and oral.
