We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team at BYD EUROPE. As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth, market penetration, and customer satisfaction.

About the Role

The Director of Business Development will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies aimed at driving revenue growth and meeting business targets. This role plays a critical role in managing key accounts, building strong relationships with customers, dealers, and partners, and achieving the company's sales and revenue targets.

The Key Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Business Development: Manage business growth in an Omni channel perspective with a B2B2C mindset. Responsible for the key sales metrics and KPIs of the region, collaborate with the dealers to achieve the agreed goals.
  • Sales Team Management: Lead and develop the sales team, setting targets, and evaluating performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, including network, operations, aftersales, finance, legal, and HR, to ensure alignment and collaboration across functions to support sales goals.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in the car industry. Strong knowledge of the Swedish market, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and fluency in Swedish and English are also essential.
