Role / Department

Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM) seeks a seasoned sales executive to play a key leadership role in the continued growth and development of our Institutional business in the Nordics, based out of Stockholm.

This role will help define, scope, and execute our strategic plan for the region, embedded into our overall EMEA and Global plans.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing relationships with Asset Owners and Asset Aggregators, providing client-driven solutions, and driving revenue growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy to meet predetermined revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with international distribution, product, and investment teams to develop capabilities in line with client and market demand.
  • Participate in developing the division's strategic plan and set goals and priorities based on the direction set for the unit.
  • Work closely with Global Institutional Client Group management and Head of Sales EMEA to set strategy and execute.
  • Provide strategic input to managing existing clients and help formulate sales strategies to grow them.
  • Collaborate with various teams across Northern Trust, including Marketing, Family Office, and Asset Servicing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Master's in Business Administration, or CFA preferred.
  • 10-15+ years of experience in product sales and relationship management in the Nordics Institutional Asset Owners and financial intermediaries.
  • Strong knowledge in Quantitative Active strategies, Index, and/or Alternatives.
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to influence others at all levels of various organizations.
