We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Installation Leader to join our team at Alstom Transport AB. As an Installation Leader, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and executing installation activities in alignment with applicable Installation procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare installation-related documentation, such as installation instructions, protocols/records, ensuring they are reviewed, accessible, and archived according to project routines and directives.
- Prepare time schedules in cooperation with the Work Package Owner, Test Leader, and Commissioning Manager.
- Lead and execute installation activities and sign drawings/records/reports during and after installations.
- Ensure requests for dispositions, closed track, and other protective measures are carried out when needed.
- Ensure involved personnel have the correct qualifications and authorizations to perform their respective tasks.
- Ensure work is carried out with respect to personal safety.
- Document all installation activities executed.
- Upper secondary school (Gymnasium) Electricity and Energy Programme or equivalent.
- ECY-certificate or equivalent.
- Documented experience as an Installation Leader in Swedish railway signaling projects, or similar experience (5 years) with installation of signaling/control systems in another industry.
- Experience in railway maintenance with a focus on signaling is valued but not necessary.
- Ability to travel mainly in Sweden, but also abroad, is an absolute necessity.
- Grit, rigor, initiative-taking, and problem-solving orientation.
- Driven, with a solid technical interest and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- High level of computer literacy and proficiency in the Office suite of tools.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
- B driver's license.
- An approved medical health examination is required before employment can begin.
