Job Title: Business Security Officer

Join Vattenfall, a leading energy company, in a challenging role that requires expertise in security management and governance. As a Business Security Officer, you will be responsible for steering and managing security work within our newly established security organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with line managers, security coordinators, and data protection coordinators to ensure effective security management.
  • Manage and develop our security operating model, supporting processes, and guidelines to meet business requirements and evolving regulations.
  • Work closely with the C&S Global Security and Personal Data Protection organization to ensure alignment with set security objectives, standards, and baselines.
  • Collaborate with 2nd Line of Defence operators, such as Nordic Business Information Security Officer (BISO), the Business Area Security Officer (BASO), and the group Data Protection Officer (DPO).
Requirements:
  • Experience in security management or a similar role, including holistic security point of view from cyber and information security, physical security, personnel security, business continuity, and data privacy.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with management teams and business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 standard, its implementation, and running and developing an ISO-based Information and/or security management system.
  • Supervising and advising people and/or security organization with a strong "can-do" attitude.
  • Managing 3rd-party risks, such as external vendors and service providers related to security.
  • Having a business-driven mindset simultaneously when assuring and understanding compliance management-related topics.
  • Reporting holistic security situational awareness to management team level.
  • Running the security program and change management accordingly.
