We are seeking a highly skilled Marketplace Strategist to lead the planning, onboarding, and operation of our marketplace and platform sales. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our marketplace strategy, overseeing our brand's presence and performance across all online marketplaces and platforms, and ensuring we stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketplace Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketplace strategy that drives profitable and sustainable market share growth while respecting our brand image.
  2. Brand Presence and Performance: Oversee our brand's presence and performance across all online marketplaces and platforms, ensuring we meet our sales and revenue targets.
  3. Industry Trends and Competitor Activities: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities, identifying opportunities to improve our marketplace performance.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Be the point of contact for marketplace, platform, and middleware providers, facilitating business reviews with internal and external key stakeholders.
  5. Marketplace Opportunities: Identify new marketplace opportunities and platforms for expansion, setting strategic goals and implementing tactics to reach targets.
  6. Marketplace Budgets and KPIs: Develop and manage marketplace budgets, setting KPIs to measure performance and drive improvement.
  7. Sales Trends and Profits: Forecast and track sales trends and profits for the channel, monitoring and analyzing marketplace scorecards to identify trends and sales opportunities.
  8. Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on marketplace performance within the organization, collaborating with marketing and eCom teams to ensure the tools needed for the channel.
  9. Performance Marketing: Manage performance marketing linked to the marketplace and platforms, coordinating with Buying, Sales, and Inventory Teams to optimize the assortment and ensure fulfillment and availability.

Requirements:

Professional Background: We are looking for a candidate with experience in digital sales within marketplace and platform sales, preferably in the apparel and footwear industry with a focus on sports and lifestyle.

Functional: +3 years of experience in digital sales within marketplace and platform sales.

Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, ability to get people on board, and a passion for numbers and analysis.
