About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketplace Strategist to lead the planning, onboarding, and operation of our marketplace and platform sales. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our marketplace strategy, overseeing our brand's presence and performance across all online marketplaces and platforms, and ensuring we stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement our marketplace strategy to drive profitable and sustainable market share growth while respecting the J.Lindeberg brand image.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of our marketplace presence and performance across all online marketplaces and platforms.
  • Ensure the company stays informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Be the point of contact for marketplace, platform, and middleware providers.
  • Facilitate business reviews with internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Identify new marketplace opportunities and platforms for expansion.
  • Set strategic goals for marketplaces and implement tactics to reach targets.
  • Develop and manage marketplace budgets and set KPIs.
  • Forecast and track sales trends and profits for the channel.
  • Monitor and analyze marketplace scorecards to identify trends and sales opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports on marketplace performance within the organization.
  • Collaborate with marketing and eCom teams to ensure the tools needed for the channel.
  • Manage performance marketing linked to the marketplace and platforms.
  • Coordinate with Buying, Sales, and Inventory Teams to optimize the assortment and ensure fulfillment and availability.

Requirements:

  • Professional background: 3+ years in digital sales within marketplace and platform sales.
  • Industry: Experience in the apparel and footwear industry with a focus on sports and lifestyle.
  • Functional: Strong negotiation and communication skills, ability to get people on board, and see the big picture.
