We are seeking a highly skilled Marketplace Strategist to lead the planning, onboarding, and operation of our marketplace and platform sales. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our marketplace strategy, overseeing our brand's presence and performance across all online marketplaces and platforms, and ensuring we stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketplace Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketplace strategy to drive sales growth and profitability.
  2. Brand Presence: Oversee the optimization of our brand's presence across all online marketplaces and platforms, ensuring consistency and accuracy of product information.
  3. Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for marketplace, platform, and middleware providers, facilitating business reviews and ensuring seamless communication.
  5. Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketplace scorecards to identify trends and sales opportunities, providing regular reports on marketplace performance to the organization.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and eCom teams to ensure the tools and resources needed for the channel are in place.
  7. Performance Marketing: Manage performance marketing linked to the marketplace and platforms, optimizing campaigns for maximum ROI.
  8. Assortment Optimization: Collaborate with Buying, Sales, and Inventory Teams to optimize the assortment and ensure fulfillment and availability.

Requirements:

Professional Background: We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in digital sales, preferably with experience in marketplace and platform sales. Ideally, you have worked with a European or Global brand in the apparel and footwear industry, with a focus on sports and lifestyle.

Functional Experience: +3 years in digital sales within marketplace and platform sales.

Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, ability to get people on board, and a passion for numbers and analysis. You should be a true team player who can prioritize tasks and make decisions independently.
