Job Title: Commercial and Contract Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commercial and Contract Manager to join our team at Linxon. As a key member of our EPC team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of contracts and ensuring that our commercial interests are protected.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contract Oversight - Ensure that our contracts are managed in accordance with best practice and that our commercial interests are protected.
  2. Procurement - Prepare and negotiate tenders, review and comment on commercial and technical terms and conditions, and award contracts.
  3. Contract Administration - Identify contract baselines, highlight areas of potential risk, and ensure that all contractual obligations are met.
  4. Subcontract Administration - Administer domestic subcontractors to ensure that the awarded scope is delivered as prescribed and all contractual obligations are satisfied.
  5. Change Management - Establish and enforce standard change methodologies to identify changes, quantify additional time and compensation, and communicate changes to customers.
  6. Project Reporting - Prepare monthly project reports, including schedule status, procurement updates, cash flow, cost/value reconciliation, risk/opportunity register, and other relevant information.
  7. Risk Management - Analyze contract terms to highlight areas of potential opportunity and risk, and seek advice from Legal to draft, negotiate, and finalize agreements.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in contract management, preferably in the energy industry.
  2. Extensive experience with EPC contracts, projects of different size and complexity, and contractual types.
  3. Excellent oral and written legal business English and Swedish are required.
  4. Knowledge of contract law, contract drafting, administration, and negotiation of change orders, claims management, and effective correspondence.
  5. Ability to evaluate the legitimacy of a claim, including knowledge of quantity surveying, and understand and interpret main contract provisions.
