Account Manager to ABB Ports

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Account Manager to join our skilled team at ABB A/S. As an Account Manager for our system solutions, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our key clients, and exploring solutions to the customer's challenges.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Meet, develop, and maintain relationships with key clients in the ports industry.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop proposals to meet client needs, leveraging your technical knowledge and commercial acumen.
- Build strong and long-term relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including sales teams, project managers, and clients.
- Tender cost calculation, handle scope and deviations from customer specifications, and full responsibility from start to finish.
- Be responsible for the project with focus on the delivery time and budget, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Always represent and act in accordance with ABB's values, including care, courage, curiosity, and collaboration.
Requirements
- To thrive in this role, we believe that you have a technical education combined with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the ports or marine industry.
- You possess strong personal drive and are persistent in working towards common targets, with excellent communication and people skills.
- Experience in commercial business deals, including tendering and contract negotiation.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team, with a willingness to travel and work in a global environment.
- Fluency in Swedish and English is required, with other language skills being a merit.
