We are seeking a dedicated Product Specialist to join our Center of Expertise (CoE) team at ABB AB, Motion Service in Sweden. The CoE plays a crucial role in developing life-cycle management strategies, crafting service concepts, and maintaining technical product information and knowledge tools for motors and generators produced in Sweden, as well as Smart Solutions for large motors and generators.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute selected R&D projects, collaborating with both local and global team members.
- Manage life-cycle activities for various products, working closely with product management to enhance the complete service portfolio.
- Ensure that all technical, training, and marketing materials are up-to-date.
- Oversee the smooth handover of new product releases, including the preparation of sales materials and providing necessary training and support.
- A relevant bachelor's or university degree is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a related field is necessary.
- Experience in the motors and generators industry is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with a passion for building relationships and collaborating effectively are essential.
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken, is a must.
ABB Large Motors and Generators develops, sells, designs, and manufactures large motors and generators for various applications. For four- and six-pole machines, as well as Synchronous Condensers, we have global responsibility within ABB and deliver to all continents.
