Are you a safety enthusiast looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for product safety engineering? We're seeking a Product Safety Engineer to join our team at Alstom in Västerås.
Your Future Role
As a Product Safety Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading the product safety work for rail vehicles in the Nordics. You'll work closely with teams across the business, conducting technical investigations, and implementing safety activities in bids and projects.
We're looking for someone with a structured mindset for complex problem-solving, strong communication skills, and proficiency in English. If you're proactive, innovative, and enjoy collaborating with diverse teams, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You'll Enjoy
As a Product Safety Engineer at Alstom, you'll have the chance to work with cutting-edge safety standards for rail signalling, collaborate with transverse teams, and contribute to innovative projects that redefine mobility. You'll also benefit from our flexible working environment, investment in your development, and a fair and dynamic reward package.
Don't worry if you're not a train enthusiast – we guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you'll be proud. If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
About You
We value passion and attitude over experience, so we're looking for someone with a University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, a proactive approach to safety and innovation, and the ability to collaborate effectively in diverse teams.
Important to Note
As a global business, we're an equal-opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63 countries we operate in. We're committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone.
