Production Manager

Belmont Lavan Ltd is seeking a skilled Production Engineer/Project Manager for a 6-month contract position. This role involves overseeing production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage production-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Work closely with production teams to analyze workflows, identify areas for optimization, and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Document project specifications, processes, and best practices for future reference.
- Relevant experience of project management governance and leadership skills to be applied in the context of investment projects.
- The person needs to be self-driven and able to collect data and information from the organization and through iterations develop a production line concept together with the teams.
- Put together the finances and build a business case to be presented for management.
- Have understanding of the requirements of safety, quality, and need for on time delivery of a quite manual assembly line.
