We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Contract Manager to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our EPC team, you will be responsible for handling large turnkey projects serving customers in the Nordic region.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Oversight: Ensure effective governance of the portfolio of contracts, following best practices in contract and claim management.
- Procurement: Tender preparation, negotiation, recommendation, and award. Review and comment on commercial and technical tender terms and conditions.
- Contract Administration: Identify the contract baseline and highlight areas of potential risk.
- Subcontract Administration: Administer domestic subcontractors to ensure scope delivery with contractual obligations met.
- Change Management: Establish standard change methodologies, identify changes, and communicate changes to the customer.
- Project Reporting: Prepare Monthly Project Reports including Schedule Status, Procurement Update, Cash Flow, Cost / Value Reconciliation, Risk & Opportunity Register.
- Risk Management: Analyze contract terms for potential opportunities and risks, seek legal advice when needed.
- Experience: Experienced contract manager with an independent and solution-oriented working style.
- Contract Knowledge: Extensive experience in EPC contracts, preferably in the energy industry.
- Project Management: Experience with projects of varying size, complexity, and contractual types.
- Language Skills: Excellent oral and written legal business English and Swedish are required.
- Education: Master or bachelor's degree in Engineering or Law or qualified by experience.
- Contract Law Knowledge: Knowledge of ABT06, NS8407, FIDIC (yellow / silver book), and similar bespoke contracts is necessary.
