Director of Enterprise Security

Boliden, a leading high-tech metal company, is seeking a seasoned security professional to lead its enterprise security function. As Director of Enterprise Security, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive security framework that minimizes risks and ensures robust, proactive, and industry-standard security practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Security Policy: Create and maintain a security policy that defines requirements and crisis preparedness, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory compliance.
- Security Awareness and Communication: Keep the organization informed about risks, security issues, and continuity plans, fostering a culture of security awareness and vigilance.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with security regulations and industry standards, maintaining a strong governance framework that supports the organization's risk management processes.
- Crisis Preparedness and Response: Monitor and improve crisis preparedness, developing and implementing effective response plans to mitigate potential security threats.
- Security Council Leadership: Lead a Security Council for information sharing and coordination, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments and business units.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure security standards are met, providing support and guidance to business areas and units in risk management and security operations.
- Assessments and Audits: Participate in assessments, audits, and risk management processes, ensuring alignment with Boliden's risk management framework.
- Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree with relevant training in security management, accompanied by proven experience in security management, ideally within an industrial setting.
- Security Knowledge and Skills: A solid understanding of laws, regulations, and security standards, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with colleagues across the organization.
