About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Content Strategist to join our team at Epidemic Sound. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and impactful content experiences that drive user engagement and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Content Strategy: Determine the overall content strategy for our in-product experiences, ensuring alignment with our brand and marketing goals.
  • Lead Content Creation: Oversee the creation of content processes, ensuring quality and governance, and participate in the production of content, including research, concepting, and UI copy.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with product designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless content integration and alignment with product vision and roadmap.
  • Establish Content Guidelines: Develop and maintain tone of voice guidance and content strategy, ensuring consistency across the Epidemic Sound platform.
  • Mentor and Educate: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, as well as educate stakeholders on content design best practices.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate complex ideas and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Content Design Expertise: Strong understanding of content design principles, including tone of voice, user experience, and accessibility.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and marketing.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business goals and objectives, and ability to develop content strategies that drive business growth.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Complex Product Organizations: Proven experience working in fast-paced, complex product organizations with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Global Customer Base: Experience working with global customer bases across multiple languages and cultures.
  • Process Mapping and Definition: Ability to map and define new processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
