Senior Pharmaceutical Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Sales Professional to join our team in Malmö, Sweden.
As a key member of our European team, you will be responsible for developing and expanding a portfolio of pharmaceutical customers in the Nordic region. Your main focus will be to run and grow the assigned part of the pharmaceutical business in this territory.
You will manage the full sales cycle, from creating initial leads to implementing contracts and maintaining customer relationships throughout their life cycle. You will position Univar Solutions as a most valuable supplier through a professional approach, service-oriented mindset, and your ability to identify customer needs.
Your daily working tasks will include:
- Developing strong relationships with customers and collaborators to find solutions to complex customer needs within pharmaceutical production.
- Creating new sales leads and carrying out contract negotiations.
- Documenting information in our CRM system, Sales Force.
- Continuously staying updated about products and markets.
- Preparing and being responsible for market budgets and sales prognoses in dedicated markets.
You will work independently and can perform tasks from our office in Malmö or your home office. You will also spend time meeting customers on-site, which may involve some degree of travel. However, the planning around it is up to you, with approximately 80 days of travelling per year.
To be successful in this position, we expect you to be goal-oriented, bring a lot of power of initiative, and have the ability to gain the trust of people you communicate with.
A strong track record within B2B sales and motivation to work with multiple stakeholders across different industries are required. Experience of working in the pharma industry and an international environment is advantageous.
A post-secondary or university degree in a relevant field, such as pharmaceuticals, chemical science, or equivalent, is preferred. Full professional proficiency in Swedish or another Scandinavian language, as well as confidence in English (written and spoken), are essential. A driver's license is also required.
The estimated salary for this role is between €60,000 - €90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
