About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Business Development Consultant to join our team at Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) in Stockholm, Sweden. As a key member of our EMEA business development team, you will be responsible for architecting and developing partnerships in the Nordic countries.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting business development advisory and consulting together with the EMEA IHS capabilities.
  2. Engaging in all steps of the service and solutions sales cycle from strategic account analysis; solution set architecture; consulting engagements; internal deal governance; contract negotiation and handover to the service activation team.
  3. Working with Enterprise Account leads to create transformational programs and partnerships in strategic accounts.
  4. Supporting the different Medtronic device and therapy business units to identify and execute growth opportunities through enterprise partnerships with nominated accounts.
  5. Positioning Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions as a partner in healthcare delivery with key decision-makers within the healthcare system.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in solutions design, delivery, and selling, for example, achieved through earlier roles in solutions and services sales or managing consulting.
  • A relevant master's degree (for example technical or management) and several years of experience within healthcare.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Thorough understanding of the Nordic healthcare systems including funding models, patient flows, decision-making processes, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand local markets and customer needs and transform them into partnerships through consulting engagements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English and local language.
  • Being a team- and relations builder.
