Marketing Category Manager

Our global player in the building industry is strengthening its marketing organization by establishing category product portfolio management. This role requires a strong market/customer focus to drive offer plans adapted to different markets and geographies that leverage the unique portfolio and sales proposition for technical products in specification markets.

You will be instrumental in building and driving a category roadmap, covering country roll-out plans with value and volume commitments. You will also develop and manage offers that address customer needs and stand out in a competitive market.

The position involves designing and implementing innovative marketing and sales strategies to boost brand recognition and market share. You will promote your category in different countries and build and communicate a relevant value proposition.

You will collaborate within the organization and ensure alignment between sales, technical, and supply chain stakeholders, acting as ultimate ambassadors for your category.

This role requires a university education in engineering with business experience or business with industry experience. Successful relevant marketing experience with technical products in an industrial environment is essential. Sales experience is a plus, but a customer focus mindset and business acumen are requirements.

The ideal candidate has management experience, having had direct reports. Fluency in English with good writing and presentation skills is necessary. A strong collaborator with an ability to lead others and drive changes is required. Strong analytical skills are also essential.
