Job Description:

As a Business Development Executive at Workiva, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in the Nordic region. Your primary focus will be on building relationships with executive-level buyers and influencers to drive customer acquisition and growth.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Actively seek out sales opportunities through collaboration with peer Sales teams, Inside Sales, and Partnerships.
  2. Utilize information gathered during needs analysis to deliver compelling demonstrations of the Workiva platform.
  3. Skillfully address customer objections and find solutions to various client challenges.
  4. Lead the sales process to a close by effectively showcasing Workiva's value proposition.
  5. Regularly update customer relationship management tools to report customer contacts.


Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a related role - enterprise technology or similar complex solution sales.
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and related career experience.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish or Norwegian.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model.
  • Ability to demonstrate complex software applications.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex business challenges.
