Job Overview

We are seeking a Head of People and Culture for CA Textile Furnishings, who will report directly to the People and Culture Manager in Purchasing Development.

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the People and Culture initiatives within the business framework by effectively translating the IKEA People strategy into actionable plans that address both current and future business requirements. You will serve as a strategic, tactical, and operational partner across all people-related matters, embodying the essence of IKEA's culture and values. Your role will involve coaching and supporting management teams on people-related issues, thereby facilitating excellence in business performance and operations. This position is integral to the Category Area management team. In collaboration with Category Area Management, you will be tasked with advancing the people development agenda for the Category Area.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that the IKEA People strategy is effectively integrated into the strategic plans of the relevant business units and teams. Facilitate the anchoring and translation of the IKEA People & Culture Capability processes within pertinent management teams. Drive the advancement of at least one IKEA People & Culture Business Capability. Manage competence flow with a systematic long-term vision at the unit level. Contribute to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace at IKEA. Promote the IKEA Culture and Values along with IKEA Leadership capabilities in daily operations.

This role will involve travel as part of the responsibilities.

A solid understanding of the IKEA landscape, including the IKEA vision, concept, and business model. Extensive knowledge of IKEA frameworks related to People and competence development processes and methodologies. The capability to coach and support management teams on both tactical and strategic levels. In-depth knowledge of IKEA People & Culture capabilities. A long-term strategic perspective. A commitment to embodying IKEA culture and values in your leadership approach.
