Island Caretaker Couple Wanted

Are you and your partner looking for a unique opportunity to work together in a remote setting?

We are seeking a couple to join our self-employed team as private island managers in Sweden's stunning Stockholm archipelago.

The island has multiple structures, including a main house, guest house, and staff housing, which require daily upkeep and maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Housingkeeping and overall maintenance of the island.
  • Caring for a flock of animals on the island (goats, sheep, chicken).
  • Care for a fleet of smaller boats and watercraft.

This is a full-time, year-round position. During winter, access might be difficult due to ice.

The family visits during summer and winter.

As part of our self-employed team, you will also help out with projects on other properties in Sweden as needed.

Key qualifications include:

  • Experience with housekeeping.
  • Occasional light cooking.
  • Keeping boats and watercraft clean and maintained.
  • Comfortable handling power boats.
  • Must be legal to work in the EU.
