Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking a seasoned Global Account Manager to lead and manage global Telco accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of penetrating accounts, reaching decision-makers, and closing business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prospecting: Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new accounts, identify key decision-makers, and close business.
  2. Direct strategic account planning and leadership of a global Telco account team.
  3. Establish and manage complex relationships with C-level stakeholders and senior internal representatives.
  4. Assemble and work to a detailed strategic account plan to deliver value and meet customer business and IT objectives.
  5. Coordinate different areas of the organization to formulate go-to-market strategies for nominated global accounts.
  6. Manage complex customer/supplier/partner dynamics.
  7. Achieve timely and accurate revenue forecasting by assessing customer and market trends.
  8. Drive accelerated revenue growth by identifying potential markets for new and existing products in accounts.
  9. Identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities and leads.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of customer business, market, and industry, including key decision-makers and influencers in account organization.
  • Ability to translate customer objectives and strategy into relevant Pure proposition.
  • Effective communication at all levels of an organization, including the C-suite.
  • Liaise with Global Enterprise Senior Management as required for executive level sponsorship program.
  • Experience working with major Nordics Telco Global Accounts.
  • Proven experience working with C-Level (internal and customers).
  • Strong decision-making skills – able to identify key business issues.
  • Strong communication skills – convey understanding and messaging clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
  • 7-10 years of successful global accounts/enterprise solution selling within technology services.
  • 7-10 years of Enterprise sales experience.
  • Ability to lead and manage an international and distributed team.
  • Strategic thinking and driving sales transformation programs.
  • Deep work experience in Telecommunications / IT Industry.
  • Enterprise Storage desirable.
  • Excellent communicator (Verbal, Written, Presentation).
