Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Category Manager with a strong background in the food or nutrition industry and a proven commercial mindset to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of key projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives while overseeing sourcing, quality, and compliance functions to meet industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take full ownership of assigned product category, from concept through development, launch, and lifecycle management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and communication.
  • Responsible for external monitoring to initiate improvements and development.
  • Act as an internal ambassador for the products within the area, participating in events and meetings where educations and inspirations are held.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects within the Product Department, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
  • Oversee the sourcing of ingredients, materials, and suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and sustainability.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, including food safety, labeling, and quality management systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain/logistics, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure seamless project execution and go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in food science, nutrition, business management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in the food, nutrition, or FMCG industry.
  • Experience in managing sourcing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance processes.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, FDA, etc.) and quality management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Located in Gothenburg, Sweden, our office offers a dynamic and international work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
