We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Energy in Västerås. As a key member of our Center of Competence Power Quality, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining control systems for our customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and verify control system components to meet customer requirements and expectations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and customers to ensure seamless delivery of control system updates.
- Work on challenging service and updating projects to meet customer needs, including HMI and MicroScada updates.
- Focus on delivering high-quality results within budget and expected quality.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automatic Control Theory, or related field.
- Preferably 2+ years of experience as a control engineer, with a strong background in electrical power plants, converter stations, process control systems, or substation automation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on delivering results and serving customers.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with knowledge of Swedish an advantage.
