Job Description

Venture Lead - Circular Economy Pioneer

In this role, you'll lead the Venture from analysis to scale and secure delivery upon set targets. As a Venture Lead, you'll be responsible for securing the progress and success of the venture by aligning and coordinating the work of the venture team and monitoring the business and financial performance of the venture.

You'll guide and support the venture team and serve as the speaking partner to the Venture Board. The Venture you'll lead is the Circularity Center, which focuses on developing circular business models and promoting sustainable practices throughout our value chain.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Vision and Planning: Develop and articulate a clear vision for the venture, including setting strategic goals, defining the business model, and creating a roadmap for growth.
  2. Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
  3. Market Analysis and Positioning: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify opportunities, assess competition, and refine value propositions.
  4. Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient execution of business plans, and achieving key performance indicators.
  5. Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with partners, customers, and other key stakeholders to support venture objectives.
  7. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the venture's resilience and adaptability.
About You

We're looking for someone who demonstrates determination, curiosity, and a belief in teamwork. You'll be an intrapreneur with an entrepreneur mindset, always thinking strategically and eager to make things happen.

We believe you have:

  1. Experience in adopting a more circular economic model, maximizing the use of existing resources, and minimizing waste throughout the value chain.
  2. Experience working with both software and hardware.
  3. 7+ years of experience leading organizations, driving growth, managing risks, and inspiring teams, preferably in a successful start-up or venture.
  4. The ability to set long-term goals and create a clear, actionable roadmap for achieving them.
  5. P&L responsibility and a strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  6. Experience leading high-performing teams with a proven track record of building and scaling businesses/revenue.
  7. A deep understanding of the industry and relevant domain, including market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
  8. Exceptional ability to communicate with various stakeholders, fostering transparency and trust.
  9. Alignment with Scania Group's values and culture.
  10. A Master's Degree in Business or Engineering.
