Sales Development Representative

NielsenIQ is seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Representative to enhance our qualified leads and sales pipeline. This role involves:
- Identifying and qualifying potential clients to advance the sales process.
- Utilizing various communication channels to establish initial meetings with prospective clients.
- Ensuring the success of our in-person and virtual events by generating excitement before and following up afterward.
- Creating high-quality content that showcases our value proposition and increases our visibility.
As a Sales Development Representative, you will:
- Stay up-to-date with our products and industry trends to become an expert in our field.
- Engage with decision-makers at small and medium-sized businesses to demonstrate the value of NielsenIQ's solutions.
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries to gauge the readiness of potential clients for sales.
- Proactively reach out to potential clients through various channels to seize opportunities.
- Generate buzz before our marketing events and ensure smooth follow-ups to provide support.
- Plan your schedule effectively to connect with the right people at the right time, researching, planning calls, and crafting messages that resonate.
- Develop compelling content that highlights our value proposition and increases our visibility and reputation.
- Meet and exceed goals for calls, emails, and meetings booked.
- Maintain accurate records of every interaction in our system to ensure no opportunity is missed.
- Collaborate closely with our sales team to convert leads into opportunities that benefit both parties.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of experience in sales or the FMCG industry (bonus points for FMCG food experience).
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills that impress even the most discerning clients.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Excellent listening and communication skills that make every conversation count.
- Organizational skills that keep you on top of your game.
- Fluency in English and native proficiency in one of the Nordic languages (Danish, Norwegian, and/or Swedish).
We are also looking for candidates with:
- Experience working with small and medium-sized businesses or FMCG data.
- Knowledge of FMCG food manufacturing.
