Your Responsibilities

The primary focus of this position is to address technical challenges related to the Autonomous Transport System (ATS), aiming to improve system reliability while controlling expenses.

  • Manage technical inquiries and issues reported through our case management system, ensuring effective communication for timely customer support.
  • Document significant technical challenges from Customer Implementation Projects (CIPs) and relay these to the Uptime Response Team for thorough resolution.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to follow up on technical issues and provide on-site troubleshooting to strengthen client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to stay updated on product enhancements, ensuring that all operational documentation is accurate and current.
  • Act as the main point of contact for fault-tracing requests, contributing to the swift identification and resolution of issues.
  • Engage in development projects by offering technical support, defining requirements, and performing Fault Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) to enhance ATS maintainability.
  • Propose alternative technical solutions that improve the maintainability of our machines, vehicles, and systems, thereby optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the availability of spare parts for CIPs, preparing our projects to tackle any technical challenges effectively.
  • Commit to continuous improvement by refining our uptime support processes, ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Who You Are

You possess extensive experience in relevant fields such as aftermarket services or the automotive sector. Familiarity with Volvo Trucks or Volvo Construction Equipment is advantageous.
