Sourcing Manager for Renewable Energy Transition

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Manager to join our team of procurement professionals at Vattenfall. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enabling the transition to renewable energy through electrification.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing call-offs using renewed competition under framework agreements for technical consultants, as well as advertised tenders for statement of work packages for technical consultants.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with stakeholders to establish transparency and planning horizons for sourcing technical consultant assignments and packages.
- Coordinating and driving tender processes, including scope of supply specifications, technical tender specifications, administrative tender specifications, tender administration, supplier communication, tender evaluation, tender clarification, and supplier negotiation and contract formation.
- Aligning with Category Managers to ensure adherence to existing category strategies and generic sourcing strategies.
- Collaborating with Sourcing Managers to ensure the application of existing processes and tools, best practices in project procurement, and the exploitation of synergies.
- Supporting Project Managers and other stakeholders in setting up and performing supplier tender processes using established sourcing tools to successfully fulfill asset investment demand.
To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about building effective relationships with cross-functional teams and have a hands-on approach to addressing issues and finding solutions.
You will also be passionate about setting up new processes, strengthening existing ones, and creating best practices for tendering goods, services, and construction projects.
Key qualifications include:
- Relevant academic education, preferably B. Sc. Engineering, M.Sc. Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of relevant working experience as a Sourcing Manager for project procurement in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure industry.
- Knowledge of different services and consultancy general terms and conditions, such as ABK 09.
- Experience with supplier tender management, including tender administration, supplier communication, bid clarification, negotiation, contract formation, and tender design and negotiation management of services and consultancy tenders.
- English and Swedish language skills with a minimum of professional working proficiency.
