Key Responsibilities- Operational Performance Management: Secure service provider operational performance in all aspects, ensuring seamless execution of contracts and compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
- Capacity Optimization: Collaborate with service providers and internal stakeholders to secure optimal usage of transport capacity, analyzing forecasts and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Supply Chain Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain stakeholders to develop and implement functional optimal solutions at lowest total cost, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Tender and Procurement Support: Support the Business Developer in preparing and implementing tenders and procurement activities, ensuring preconditions for performance are met.
- Knowledge Sharing: Develop and share transportation industry knowledge with relevant stakeholders, ensuring a high level of expertise within the team.
- Contract Compliance: Monitor and secure execution of signed contracts, performing compliance checks to verify adherence to quality, safety, and security standards.
- Crisis Management: Secure capacity in unforeseen situations, including procurement out of tender, to ensure business continuity.
- Education: University degree in Logistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
- Industry Knowledge: Good knowledge of the transport industry, including market-specific transport safety, security, and quality standards.
- Supply Chain Understanding: Understanding of how supply chain, transport planning, and different set-ups work.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to build and evaluate fact-based business cases, with good negotiation skills and constructive communication.
- Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
