About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at IBM. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales and Business Development: Proven track record of sales success, including B2B sales experience, understanding of sales strategies and tactics, and ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
  2. Cloud Computing and Software as a Service (SaaS): Understanding of cloud-based technologies, including cloud infrastructure and deployment models, SaaS business models and benefits, and familiarity with Salesforce cloud infrastructure and services.
  3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to effectively communicate with customers, sales teams, and management, strong active listening and problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Large Enterprise Sales Experience: Proven experience selling to large enterprise organizations, including understanding of complex sales environments and buying processes, ability to navigate and influence multiple stakeholders, and experience with large-scale implementations and deployments.
  2. Executive-Level Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with executive-level decision-makers, including understanding of executive-level concerns and priorities, ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner, and ability to build and maintain relationships with executive sponsors.
  3. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop sales strategies that align with business objectives, including understanding of business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs), ability to develop and execute sales plans that meet or exceed sales targets, and ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
