About the Role

Shimano is seeking a highly skilled and creative marketing professional to join our team in Uppsala. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in designing and implementing corporate and promotional materials, both digital and for print, as well as contributing to our digital advertising campaigns on various platforms.

The Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the publishing of content created on online and offline platforms to maximize revenue generation.
  • Ensure a high standard of imagery and maintain product content databases, providing customers with material upon request.
  • Coordinate well-planned and targeted content to current and potential Shimano consumers on digital platforms.
  • Plan and deliver online and offline promotional marketing tools and materials for new introductions and specific promotions.
  • Create online and offline content for both B2B and B2C customers, meeting market standards and customer expectations.
  • Communicate across departments and external parties to create ads, banners, in-store material, social media content, catalogues, and more.
  • Ensure that all produced and published content meets license, royalties, and copyright regulations.
  • Monitor the market to discover trends, monitor developments, and ensure the use of the right tools to innovate and succeed in the current market.
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines to meet deadlines.
  • Create a content calendar to ensure frequent and maximum exposure.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar position (digital, social media, advertising experience is a plus).
  • Solid experience in Adobe Creative Suite applications (e.g., In-Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop). Expertise in video editing and animation is a plus.
  • Experience in running advertising campaigns on social media platforms.
  • You are a solution-focused self-starter with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and handle data.
  • Highly organized, independent, and willing to challenge yourself.
  • The ability to plan, coordinate, and juggle projects calmly and optimistically, often working to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, other Nordic languages are a plus.
  • Tons of energy and a great team spirit are a must. Passion or knowledge of the cycling/sports market is a plus.
