The Role

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bid Strategist to join our team within Siemens Energy AB. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our order intake and profitability.

As a Senior Bid Strategist, you will lead technical bid efforts and bid teams to prepare competitive bids for sales projects.

You will review customer specifications, define technical configurations, source project cost estimates, and manage exceptions and clarifications.

You will coordinate technical risk and opportunity management within your bid projects and lead clarification meetings with customers.

You will contribute technical expertise in commercial customer negotiations and collaborate closely with Siemens Energy's local and global sales community.

This position involves international business trips, which may vary in frequency and duration based on sales situations and personal preferences.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have an engineering degree or equivalent experience.

You should have experience and technical knowledge of energy production equipment, gained through a detailed background in gas turbines, steam turbines, combined cycle power plants, or similar experience acquired elsewhere.

You should have worked with scopes engineered to meet customer-specific project needs.

You should be analytical, curious to learn, and experienced in working independently under own leadership as well as leading others.

You should possess familiarity with techno-commercial topics and understanding of how they influence bids and order execution.

You should have a strong drive to succeed, good communication skills, and a customer-focused approach, enabling effective collaboration with partners from diverse regions and backgrounds.
