Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the pursuit strategy for new business opportunities, identifying and creating new pursuits, and driving early engagements with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet customer-specific targets
  • Identify and create new business opportunities and drive early engagements with customers
  • Own RFI/RFQ response for new business opportunities and be responsible for the quote and technical and commercial sourcing negotiations with the customer
  • Create unique selling propositions and value statements to differentiate HARMAN's products and services
  • Understand customer expectations and define internal targets to meet them
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers and develop strategies to win new business
  • Develop partnerships with key customers and suppliers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Engineering
  • Proven sales experience and understanding of the automotive industry
  • Understanding of P&L statements, business cases, and quotes/contracts
  • Negotiation skills and ability to develop and execute a sales strategy
  • Experience working with automotive OEMs and their organization and processes
  • Ability to engage with different levels of customer organizations
