The role
Responsible for aligning and executing marketing campaigns and overall accountability for all funnel campaigns, media spend, and optimization. This role involves managing SAC in Sweden, overseeing editorial social media, and ensuring adherence to brand guidelines. Additional duties include the PR strategy of Sweden, coordinating with Content and Commercial teams to meet targets, managing assigned budgets across products, and ensuring efficient workflows.
- Lead and manage the Swedish Marketing and PR team while being an integral member of the Swedish Management Team.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies, guidelines, and campaigns for Viaplay and our linear channels.
- Oversee and optimize campaign budgets across all products. Full funnel responsibility with data-driven approach to improve and optimize campaign efficiency.
- Enhance the value and effectiveness of campaigns and PR activities.
- Drive growth, profitability, and audience engagement.
- Strengthen our brand positioning and perception in the market.
- Maximize return on investment across external media and internal platforms.
- Innovate with bold ideas to optimize performance and push boundaries.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Tech teams to align marketing initiatives with product launches and business goals.
- Develop and nurture top talent within the marketing organization, fostering a culture in line with company values.
What we’re looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:
- You have 10+ years experience leading product marketing teams.
- E-commerce expertise is a plus, with a strong background in media buying, data tracking, and building high-performing teams.
- Proven ability of managed digital transformation projects.
- Ambitious, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in matrixed, multinational organizations.
- Track record of driving customer growth through data-driven initiatives.
- You are a self-driven leader capable of coaching and developing your teams of specialists.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse stakeholders, including executive teams, partners, and customers.
- A collaborative team player who values shared success.
