About the organization
At Electrolux, we are on a journey to provide our consumers with a simply outstanding experience, across our business area Europe-APMEA and through the central and local teams that this role supports in the core route to market through our trade partners (B2B Sales). This is an incredibly important area of the business and therefore we are now looking for our next dedicated Pricing Officer, to join the Business Area Europe-Asia (BA EA) team at our global Headquarters in Stockholm.
The BA EA team play key roles as both a business partner and a center of expertise in PRM (Pricing and Revenue Management). The team has been focused on both ‘perform and transform’ which means that there are routines to keep and the future to be designed aiming the delivery of profitable growth for Electrolux.
About the role
As a Pricing officer dedicated to B2B, you will collaborate with the central BA EA team as well as the local management teams, mainly Pricing managers but may also include Sales and Product Line teams. Furthermore, you will be part of a team that acts as business process owner for Pricing and will continuously develop the area of pricing in the Europe-APMEA, making sure we are up to date in Pricing and Revenue Management practices to drive profitable growth of categories ‘Finished Goods’.
Being successful at this role requires excellent analytical and communication skills, being comfortable with spreadsheets, as well as presentations and analytical business intelligence tools, which is why we are looking for a dedicated person to drive the pricing central needs at Electrolux. It is expected to support in developing the necessary understanding over processes, tools and needs at main markets to compose a cohesive updated view of current state and co-create a growth agenda aligned with PRM needs at local market to successfully drive the business from a Pricing point of view.
A typical day at work
By joining our team, you will be co-creating the Pricing agenda for 2030 along with other responsibilities. At the role you will:
- Bring a critical eye over methodologies, frameworks and best practices for pricing advisory and optimization
- Run periodic analysis and report current business situation through financial reports interpretation (e.g. PMV, Price Waterfall, P&L)
- Be the primary point of contact for pricing questions towards the countries and evaluate and summarize pricing related tracking findings, assess local deviations and propose actions.
- Structure findings, do problem solving and share recommendations supporting Pricing and Revenue Management BA EA to be a learning organization, increasing our capabilities and making us more data-driven.
Overall, you will continuously develop the pricing capabilities within Europe, Asia Pacific and Middle East/Africa, may also include governance improvements and participation in forums to discuss PRM related matters.
Qualifications
- You have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in Price & Revenue management, ideally within a consumer product industry focused on retail sales or consulting company
- You have worked in an international environment towards multi-functional teams and successfully led projects within the field
- You have knowledge of pricing elements, pricing strategy, pricing governance, as well as a passion for the dynamics of generating top line excellence
- You are accustomed to using pricing software and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI or similar)
- You have managed Pricing in ERP systems, preferably SAP, understanding basics like rebate agreements and pricing conditions
- You have a university Degree in an analytical field, preferably Economics, Business administration, engineering or similar
- You are fluent in English, written as well as verbal
