Business Area Manager

As a Public Cloud Business Area Manager (PC BAM) at Orange Business, you'll have the opportunity to bring your expertise and vision to life, redefining and steering the future of our PC team while driving its growth and success. With your entrepreneurial mindset, you will lead a highly skilled team, expanding its capabilities and impact while ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry.
In this role, you'll work closely with the Managing Director and Sales Director in Sweden, in addition to the PC Business Area Director for Europe, playing a strategic role in shaping the direction of PC. You will also be part of the management team in Sweden.
Your key areas of responsibility as PC BAM will be:
Business development- Strategy for the business expansion, building and growing the PC Business Area in Sweden. Collaborating with the Swedish Managing Director, the PC Business Area Director and local Sales Director. Further, collaboration with the other different business areas to offer hybrid services is essential for the success of the company.
- Sales: Defining a G2M strategy and Sales plan. Managing one Business Developer, but also being active yourself on all phases of the sales process.
- The organization provides pre-sales support but the ambition is to recruit to the team when the time is right.
- Building business through developing and maintaining presence in the marketplace.
- Initiating and supporting marketing activities.
- Foster strong relationships with key customers and accounts.
- Trade show/conference presentation and exhibit planning.
- Recruiting and managing the consultant team, following up on existing assignments and projects.
- Performance Management and Quality Assurance: Having 1-1s, providing feedback, and ensuring team members meet performance standards and project milestones.
- Resource allocation, assigning consultants to projects and assignments.
- Client Communication, acting as the primary point of contact for key clients to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensuring profitability. Utilization rates and project monitoring.
Must haves:
- At least 5 years sales and/or Sales Manager experience with consultative selling skills
- Experience from building and managing consultant teams
- Relevant knowledge of Azure and/or AWS
- Entrepreneurial approach and attitude
- Business management skills
- Proficient in Swedish and English (verbal and written)
Nice to haves:
- Data/AI experience
- Hybrid Cloud experience
