About the role

As Country Manager Germany/DACH, you will drive CAIA Cosmetics' expansion and growth across the DACH region. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee digital marketing, e-commerce performance, and customer engagement to strengthen our online presence and optimize the customer journey. As CAIA's key representative in the DACH region, you will collaborate closely with the CCO to align commercial objectives and with the CMO to implement localized marketing strategies. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will also be responsible for managing local teams and partnerships to ensure sustained market success.

Key Responsibilities

Market Growth & Expansion:

  • Develop and execute CAIA's marketing and commercial strategy for the German market.
  • Drive brand awareness and online growth through PR, influencer collaborations, and localized marketing activations.
  • Identify and lead potential retail partnerships and market rollouts.

E-Commerce & Customer Journey Optimization:

  • Oversee the end-to-end customer journey from website experience to post-purchase engagement.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to propose improvements in conversion rates and digital experiences.
  • Collaborate with the central e-commerce team to implement market-specific best practices.

Customer Experience & Support:

  • Develop and implement a localized customer support strategy that enhances customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that the German website, content, and communication reflect CAIA's brand identity and resonate with local audiences.

Budget & Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor key performance metrics such as sales, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
  • Manage and optimize the marketing budget to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.

Collaboration & Team Leadership:

  • Work closely with the CCO and CMO to align local market strategies with global objectives.
  • Build and lead a small, high-performing local team, fostering a culture of innovation and customer-centricity.

Essential experiences and qualifications

Market Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of the German beauty market with a strong network across the DACH region.

Marketing & Growth Proficiency:

  • Demonstrated expertise in driving marketing initiatives including PR, content, influencer collaborations, and performance marketing.

E-Commerce & Analytical Skills:

  • Proven experience in optimizing online customer journeys and improving conversion rates using A/B testing and other CRO strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track KPIs and adjust strategies based on performance data.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Previous experience in a senior leadership role with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working closely with executive leadership.
