Position Overview

As the Key Account Manager (KAM) responsible for Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) in Sweden, your main role is to collaborate closely with customers to understand their challenges and find solutions together. Your objective is to introduce our innovations to more patients efficiently by focusing on launch excellence, patient access, and clinic-level uptake. This customer-facing role involves gaining deep customer insights, establishing strong relationships, and optimizing key account management. Your main areas of focus will be on account management, pathway optimization and execution, in close coordination with cross-functional teams within and across markets.

  • Identify customer needs and create business opportunities to benefit patients, customers, and the company.
  • Engage with customers to become an expert on hospital needs, decision-makers, and patient considerations in the market.
  • Adhere to ethical codes and regulations, establishing close working relationships with customers.

Primary Activities and Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement customer engagement strategies to drive business growth, achieve revenue targets, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Utilize customer insights to identify commercial opportunities and provide continuous feedback to the team.
  • Gain expertise in hospital needs and decision-makers, creating solutions that enhance the value of medicines based on insights from accounts.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, utilizing a strong understanding of the therapeutic area and treatment options.
  • Implement launch strategies at the clinic level to maximize market penetration and product adoption.
  • Plan and oversee tactical implementation to effectively collaborate with the team.
  • Collaborate with scientific leaders to conduct educational events for stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the launch process.
  • Establish quality engagement with customers to address healthcare challenges.

Digital and Data:

  • Understand the therapeutic and clinical area, applying this knowledge to local markets, specific accounts, and patients.
  • Monitor market dynamics, adjust launch strategies, and track performance through data analysis.
  • Drive innovation in value-added services and communication channels.
  • Collaborate with the team to adapt marketing materials and initiatives for customers.
  • Uphold company values and compliance standards within the local market.

Experience & Competence:

  • 3-5 years of healthcare experience.
  • Scientific and clinical background for disease and therapeutic information.
  • Sales and negotiation skills to promote products effectively.
  • Industry and product knowledge for engaging with customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability in a changing market.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and compliance with regulations.
  • Fluency in local languages and English with excellent communication skills.
