Sustainability Project Manager

Ejendals is looking for a Sustainability Project Manager within the Product Management & Marketing Department (PMM), who will take the lead on all sustainability related matters within product development, marketing and sales. This is a new strategic position, and you will play a crucial part in our future growth journey.

Ejendals is a global company with expertise in developing, marketing and selling hand and foot protection to a wide array of industries, and we sell our products under the brands Tegera (gloves) and Jalas (shoes). We are on a growth journey and sustainability is high on our agenda.

This role is diverse, where we expect you to drive the strategy as well as working hands on with statistics and formal reporting such as EPDs. You will be the spider in the web and work cross functionally with sourcing, R&D, compliance, quality, marketing, management and with sales – on an international basis. You will also cooperate with the corporate EHSQ & Sustainability team.

Key areas of responsibility

• Lead all Sustainability related matters within PMM

• Project Manage a diverse range of projects projects that spans across footwear, gloves and marketing including EPD, education, externa markings, sustainability projects etc

• Set the sustainable strategy from a PMM point of view

• Product development -ensure that Ejendals have the right product portfolio and services that fits into the overall sustainability strategy and targets

• Work with communication and education internally and externally

• Drives the development of cross-functional processes, way of workings and organization including idea management methods for the area of sustainability

Experiences and competences needed for this role

• Min 5 years experience of working with sustainability in an organization

• Preferably experience of working with textile and/or chemical materials and products

• You have good knowledge of all regulations related to our industry

• Preferably and understanding of marketing and communication in terms of sustainability

• Project Management experience

• Analytic capabilities

• Knowledge of project development processes, methods, and tools

• Degree from higher education

• Fluent in English and or Swedish/Finnish

• Possibility to travel to our main sites in Leksand, Jokipii and sales companies on a frequent basis

You will be reporting to Chief Product & Marketing Officer, and be part of the PMM Leadership Team.
Preferrable placement is either Leksand, Jokipii or Stockholm.
