About the job
Join a dedicated and skilled team where you will be responsible for managing and leading various M&A transactions, from small to large scale. As a Project Manager, you will oversee negotiations, due diligence processes, and the development of valuation models and strategies within Vattenfall's businesses. This role will require strong communication and leadership abilities as you work closely with diverse teams of experts.
Responsibilities as Project Manager include:
Oversee transactions from inception to completion across all business areas of Vattenfall Prepare M&A documentation for internal and external use with support from M&A analysts and other relevant resources Select and manage legal, financial, and commercial advisors Present transactions to decision-making bodies, represent Vattenfall to financial institutions, and collaborate with business units on M&A services Utilize financial models for equity valuation and debt transactions Negotiate contracts and documentation for transactionsYour profile:
We are looking for a candidate with strong stakeholder management skills, self-motivation, and the ability to articulate and persuade effectively. Requirements include:
Business degree, preferably an MBA or equivalent 5-8 years of experience in M&A or related fields such as Investment Banking or Project Finance, with a focus on the energy sector Previous experience in Offshore wind is advantageous Proficiency in transaction processes, valuation, and market analysis Strong presentation, communication, and project management abilities Advanced Excel skills with basic VBA knowledge Fluency in EnglishAdditional details:
