We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to join our team working on a chemical manufacturing project, based in the client office on behalf of the EPC. This role is in Stenungsund in the site office and would be on a 12 month contract.
The ideal candidate will support the planning, execution, and completion of EPC projects, ensuring they meet the specified requirements, timelines, and budgets. This role is perfect for someone looking to develop their project management skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist senior project managers in planning and executing EPC projects.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project milestones are met
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Track project progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure all project documentation complies with company standards and client requirements.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between project team members, clients, and vendors
- Assist in organizing and conducting project meetings, including preparation of agendas and follow-up on action items.
- Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on risk factors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the resolution of project issues and conflicts.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Sr Project Engineer / Project Management, preferably in the EPC industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English and Swedish
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- PMP or other project management certification is an advantage but not required.
