akub is a streamlined CRM solution designed specifically for the beauty and wellness industry. It assists businesses in managing appointments, inventory, payments and customer feedback.

akub was founded in November 2022 and has done well in Stockholm. A city in which we have significant clients. The company is led by our Product Engineer and founder, Jackmay Confidence, who is more than accommodating towards moving on the day-to-day management responsibility of our European operations to a more befitting candidate to create a better environment to help him focus on making akub's product offering solid. As the CEO, you will work closely with Jackmay, reporting directly to him, and have the necessary authority to lead our European operations. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in a similar role.

About the Role.

As our CEO, you are responsible for the company's overall strategy, growth and profitability. You provide leadership and direction to all departments and ensure the company meets its short- and long-term goals. You report to akub's board of directors and are responsible for setting the company's overall direction. What sets this role apart is the opportunity to work closely with our founder, Jackmay Confidence, and play a key role in shaping the future of our European operations. You must be able to lead and inspire teams, build relationships with stakeholders and partners, and make decisions that are in the company's best interest. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the company's vision and mission alongside our founders.
  • Set the company's strategic direction.
  • Oversee all aspects of the company's operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure the company is financially sound.
  • Make significant decisions about the company's future alongside our founders.
Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of success in a leadership role.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience MBA
  • 6-10+ years in business-related field.
  • Willingness to take risks and break things before asking questions.
  • Experience in SaaS - the beauty and wellness industry (a plus)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking skills.
  • A passion that resonates with akub's mission.
